NYTHC is more than a homecoming—it’s a movement. Every fall, the city of Norfolk transforms into the ultimate convergence of culture, community, and celebration as thousands of Spartans return home to honor the legacy of Norfolk State University.

What started as a bold idea has evolved into a nationally recognized homecoming experience that fuses entertainment, tradition, and innovation. Over the past decade, NYTHC has become the official guide and cultural hub for students, alumni, and the greater community to reconnect, celebrate, and create memories that last a lifetime.

From exclusive events and curated alumni gatherings to high-energy concerts, marketplaces, and cultural showcases, NYTHC embodies the spirit of Black excellence, Spartan pride, and the unique magic of HBCU homecomings.
